This is a jinya (regional government office) built in 1697 when Mori Nagatoshi established a new domain. The jinya (regional government office) adjacent to the grounds of Hioka Hachimangu Shrine is guarded by a stone wall and a moat in front, and excavations in recent years have unearthed structures such as a monomi yagura watchtower, nagaya (row houses), and the Nakagomon Gate, which have been restored in their original positions, returning the site to its original grandeur.
