Welcome to the web page of Hyogo Prefectural Sanda Shounkan Senior High School!
Sanda Shounkan is a high-spirited school that was founded in April, 2002.
This school is a full-time high school utilizing a credit based system of courses.
The school mottoes are “Self-discipline, Creativity, and Love and Respect.”
Based on these mottoes, our own research and problem-solving learning approach is placed in the curriculum.
We have been working in a way that keeps wisdom, morality, and the body in balance, aiming to cultivate in students an inquisitive mind and creativity.
The school premises are spacious and surrounded by beautiful nature.
The school buildings are in Italian Renaissance style and well-equipped, providing a wonderful educational environment for the students.
We provide the students with various unique subjects to strengthen their desire to learn and achieve their future goals.
We have developed cross-cultural exchange and language programs overseas.
We also accept a number of students from abroad.
Our school has been registered as a Super Science High School (SSH) by the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology and has been enhancing science education, too.
We take every opportunity to train students’ basic scholastic ability and to promote the ability to study, think, and act with their own initiative so that they can survive in society in the future.
Many students join club activities at school and practice energetically.
Some clubs are successful in Hyogo Prefectural competition or Kinki region competition.
Thus, our students are active in both study and sports.
We have been trying hard to encourage our students to participate vigorously in the local and global communities.
