短歌、俳句対訳つき

長田の２年が英語の授業に作った短歌、俳句達を紹介します。
自分で作った作品を自分で訳してます。ちなみにいうと、 桜唐草のはありません。私も、誰がどの作品を作ったかなどは知らないです。 先生にご協力頂き、いい物を選んで載せてみました。先生、 ありがとうございました。
作品はすべて、文化部発表会に掲載させていただきました。

体育祭編
１ クラＴに Every time
腕通すたび we wear our class T-shirt,
湧き上がる we become
仲間の士気と full of
僕の情熱pep and passion.
　　

２ 体育祭 On the sports day
トロフィーもらって I won the trophy
すぐ返す but returned it soon.

家族編
３ 疲れたと Seeing my mother
ため息つく who gives a sigh and says,"Tired.",
母を見て I say to her
心の中で only in my heart, though,
お礼を言う "Thank you, mom."
　　
４ 弟の I can barely see
つむじがだんだん my younger brother's hair whorl on his head
近くなる these days.
来ないでほしい I wish my brother would stay short
見えなくなる日 and be a cute young boy forever.

部活編
５ 攻めと受け Offense & defence
礼儀きちんと and
守ること Keeping good manners.
これぞ空手の These are the fundamentals
基本なりけり of Karate sprite.
　　

6 部活中 During the club traning
手の皮破る my hand becomes hard and calloused.
痛いけど It aches a lot ,
あんたはえらいと but I can say that
思える自分 I'm proud of myself.

高校生編
　　
７ 気合い入れ I yell at myself
勉強机に and face my desk at home to study.
向かっても But I am knocked out by the sandman
睡魔に負けて and fall asleep
眠る毎日 every time.
　　
８ 自転車で When I ride a bike
ふらっと出かけた and stroll about a place
未知の場所 I have never been to ,
私の世界 my world has broadened
一歩広がる a step
