I'll introduce to you some Japanese special events.
*New Year
In Japan,New Year is the most important event!! New Year is called "GANTAN" and it means to see the first sun in . The first sun rises on January first early in the morning. Almost all Japanese eat "soba" at twelve at night, and we celbrate New Year and eat special food. We receive some "nengajou" (It is like a letter and on it is written "Happy New Year" )from our friends and other acquaintances. Many children are looking forward to the coming New Year. Because they are given some money by adults.
