*Tea ceremony
Tea ceremony is a typical, Japanese traditional event. It is simply a ceremony performed before drinking tea. The tea itself is very bitter, so it is accompanied by a sweet piece of confectionery. It is generally held whilst wearing kimono. A woman will often perform for a man.

*Calligraphy
Calligraphy is not originally from Japan. It came from China. In those days, many Japanese were interested in it,and learnt it. Even now it is loved by many people. Then my grandfather and mother are both calligraphy teachers.
