The "S" in the middle of the emblem is the initial of both Sanda city and Shounkan High School, and the "S" looks similar to the character for infinity ""expressing the infinite possibilities of learning.
The three ovals around the "S" represent the three mottoes of this school: Self-discipline, Creativity, and Respect and Love. They are also a symbol for "The cloud of good omen" or "The happy cloud." We hope the graduates who learned based on the mottoes of this school will advance to the world and contribute to society.

The design was created by Junichi Fujii, the directing curator of the Hyogo Prefectural Modern Museum. (his official title when it was made)
