The students practiced the puppet show during study hall and after school to present this fairy tale land to us. |
|
| Student art work was displayed in an exhibition
room. The displays included paintings, drawings,
Japanese calligraphy, student crafted newspapers
describing a part of Japanese history, science
projects on cooking, and an exhibit on international
exchange with our sister town. |

| In early fall, students began learning taiko drumming in the aftershool taiko club. Their months of practice culminated in a performance at the culture festival. | |
| Some ninth graders also presented a magic act and a comedy show. The applause didn't stop for their colorful and varied performances! | |
| Both the boys and girls sang and choreographed dances to pop music of their own choosing. Up until the day of the culture festival they could be seen and heard practicing dance moves and lyrics in the school hallways. There were a total of four dances and one rock band perfomance. Livlier than the year before, the performances overflowed with energy and star quality! |
