About Disaster Mitigation course, Maiko High school

Disaster Mitigation course is only one in Japan.

This is established for learning a lesson from Great Kobe-earthquake and spreading it to the world. There are unique lessons. For example, lectures by university professor and lifelines, gas electricity waterworks. I am proud of entering this course because I can experience many things.

Hanshin Awaji Disaster

When I was seven, Hanshin Awaji Disaster happened in Kobe.
A temporary housing was built in the park near my house.
We had a hard time because we didn't have enough water and food.
I thought that water was very important for human to live at that time.

Japan has many kinds of disasters.
So first we have to establish disaster mitigation in Japan.
Then, we want to convey about knowledge for disaster mitigation to the world.
My dream is to make a peaceful world.
Let's make safe world!!

International exchange

Each other understand to visit country.
Moreover the big city attacked of maximum level.
Therefore, KOBE PEOPLE necessary to tell other country people.
For example tell to Knowledge and technology, for world many people.
Each one the effort connects to disaster mitigation.
Even a little decreases disaster victim for the world.
