About the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake

When the earthquake occurred, we were the first graders in the elementary school. We were very young.But Fear to the shake felt at that time cannot be forgotten. I feels horror in still a few shakes. The earthquake is really scary.

Environment and science

This curriculum was leaning for one year.

We went to fieldwork of the Rokko Mt. form a part of that curriculum. We went to there with Mr. Nishimura who is one of geology expert. His lessons were very exciting. Because he taught us what we don't know. So we have passed for good time. And we got a most knowledge.

Disaster Mitigation Education

I enter the course make an impression is "Disaster and human". It is study about The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake (Kobe-Earthquake). The report is made in each one with a notebook computer, the method to submit by LAN inside the campus, and the class to which IT is taken. We went to visit Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution Center and Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo as outside the school study." Social Environment and Disaster mitigation" take over the class when second grade. I am proud of studying about "Disaster Mitigation". And I hope that dwindle happen sorrow by disaster.
