Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (PB&J)
When I was in elementary school I always brought my lunch to school in a lunchbox. Sometimes we'd get a new lunchbox for the new school year. It was a lot of fun to pick out a new lunch box. My mother made my lunch. I usually got a bologna sandwich and a PB&J sandwich with chips and fruit. PB&J sandwiches are easy to make and great for lunch on Saturday or Sunday. They are also great to take on a picnic, camping or fishing.

Ingredients
(serves 1 or 2)

-bread 2 slices
-peanut butter
-jam
Preparation:

1. Spread just the right amount of peanut butter on one slice of bread.
2. Spread just the right amount of jam on the other slice of bread.
3. Put the two pieces of bread together. Slice in half and eat!

Tips:

*After you've spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread, clean your knife by wiping it on the other slice of bread before spreading the jam.
*Try honey instead of jam! It's yummy!
*Toasted PB&J is great, too!
