Located about 1 kilometer southwest of the Hanshin Koshien Stadium- the home of the Hanshin Tigers and Mecca for students who love baseball- our school was established April of 1977 as a standard full-time high school. We are located in a quiet corner of a bright residential area: to the south you have Koshienhama, the only remaining beach in the Hanshin area, and to the northwest you can see the peaks of the Rokkosan mountain range announcing the colors of each season.

Everyday, we strive to make our school a place where students can feel secure, and learn in an energetic and cheerful environment, under our motto of “Self Discipline, Cooperation, and Creation.” We have introduced more elective courses with the enforcement of a new educational system, starting with the class of 2006 (the 27th class to enroll in our school). This is a new system that allows students to decide what they will learn each year, by giving every student the option to choose courses based on their learning styles, their interests, their aptitudes, and the paths they will take in the future. We hope that with the development of this system, our students will grow to discover their dreams, and strive to reach for them.

Finally, since 2004 in we have been developing the Global Communication Project in Nishinomiya-Imazu (GCPN). We are focusing on making it the key to inter-curricular education within the school, and the base for communication with our local community, especially with the construction of this website. The results of the educational exchanges and cooperation projects that we have already put into practice (international exchanges, university/high school exchanges, etc.) can be found on our homepage, and we would be more than happy to have you see what they are about.
