Carefree Line and Bold Color:
The Block Print

An art project by second year students at Takino Junior High, graduating class of 1998.
Supervisor: Mr. Fujii

Creation of the Single Block, Multi-Color Print:
1. Sketch design on a sheet of plywood.
2. Carve out the sketched lines.
3. Secure one edge of a black piece of paper to the plywood.
4. Apply poster color to the plywood.
5. Lay the paper over the plywood. Press.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 using different colors.
